LISA CARTER

Owner

Lisa brings a lifetime of movement experience to Reforming Indy, blending classical ballet training, global teaching expertise, and deep Pilates knowledge into a thoughtful, strength‑focused approach. Her career began in Cape Town, South Africa, where she trained in classical ballet from the age of three and later earned degrees in both music and dance education. Her work has taken her around the world — teaching, examining, and choreographing across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States.

Pilates became a turning point in Lisa’s own movement journey. She was drawn to its ability to build strength, restore balance, and create confidence from the inside out. After extensive training with internationally recognized Master teachers, she developed a teaching style that is both precise and encouraging — rooted in alignment, mindful movement, and intelligent progression.

At Reforming Indy, Lisa focuses on helping clients feel stronger, more capable, and more connected to their bodies.

Lisa’s goal is simple: to help every client leave feeling better than when they walked in — stronger, aligned, and empowered.

Lisa’s class blends precision, alignment, and mindful strength work to leave clients feeling balanced, powerful, and deeply connected to their bodies.
