FAQ's

Do I need prior experience to begin Pilates?

No prior experience is required. We recommend starting with a Private class or a Restorative class before jumping into group reformer class to ensure that you are familiar with the basics of Pilates as well as the equipment. Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels, and our instructors will provide guidance and modifications to ensure a safe and effective experience.

We recommend comfortable, form-fitting athletic attire that allows full movement and enables instructors to assess alignment. Grip socks are recommended for both safety and hygiene.
All necessary equipment is provided by the studio. Please bring water, grip socks, and any personal items you prefer. For safety, avoid clothing with zippers or metal hardware when using Pilates equipment.

New clients should arrive 5–10 minutes before class to check in, get oriented, and prepare equipment as needed.

Pilates is adaptable to every fitness level. Instructors offer modifications for beginners and progressions for those seeking more challenge.

Mat Pilates uses body weight and small props to build core strength, stability, and mobility.

Reformer Pilates uses a spring-based machine to provide resistance and support.
Both formats offer effective full-body strengthening.

For best results, we recommend 2–3 sessions per week. However, even one weekly session can yield noticeable improvements in posture, strength, and overall body awareness.
